Jonathan started in the camera department over twenty years ago and quickly rose through the ranks to become the world's leading action unit director of photography. Having cut his teeth as part of the crew responsible for such classics as Full Metal Jacket, The Crying Game, Cliff Hanger, and Willow his talent was quickly noticed and he soon became an instrumental part of the modern day action movie. Directors such as Tim Burton, Sam Raimi, Rolland Emmerich, and Oliver Stone have all come to rely on Jonathan's expertise and innovative approach and his credits read like a who's who of contemporary Hollywood - from Independence Day to the last three Bond movies, from Charlie's Angels to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the list goes on and on. His work on The Fast and the Furious revolutionised the way car chases were shot and the train sequence in Spiderman 2 is already legendary.

In between movies, Jonathan has always been keen to work in the commercials business and was the director of photography on the award winning 'Testing Time' for Sure, directed by Thomas Krygier and the acclaimed 'People Magnet' for Cadbury's Heroes.

Jonathan has recently worked on X-Men III & finished filming Spiderman III in June 2006. He has decided to take a break from movies and is available to the commercials market once again. Jonathan is keen to further his directing career in the UK and FEEL are proud to represent such a world renowned talent.
