Alexander Witt

A native of Chile, Alexander came up through the ranks of the camera department and has gained huge amounts of experience working on big budget feature films, becoming the go-to-guy for directors such as Matthew Vaughan, Doug Liman, Jan De Bont, Ben Affleck and Sam Mendes. He has been trusted by Ridley Scott on countless films including Robin Hood, American Gangster, Black Rain, Thelma and Louise and the multiple Oscar™ winning Gladiator.

Alexander Witt is now one of Hollywood’s premier second unit directors and, chances are, if you’ve been amazed at a breathtaking action sequence over the past fifteen years, you were watching Alexanders work. His credit list has a box office total that adds up to billions of dollars: Gladiator, The Bourne Identity, Pirates of The Caribbean, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, The Town, X-Men: First Class, Fast & Furious 5 and his work on the James Bond series for Casino Royale, which rebooted the series with Daniel Craig and the critically lauded/action packed Skyfall. Bond collaboration number three arrived with the swaggeringly successful Spectre, which was released in October, 2015.

Alex is currently in pre-production for The Avengers.
