Jonjo is a man on a mission. His infant son is fatally ill and the only one who can save him is Jonjo’s deadbeat brother Seamus - a lowlife, low level drug dealer apparently incapable of catching a flight even to save his own nephew.
Having abandoned a life of crime in Ireland to start afresh in London, Jonjo must now return to the last place on earth he wants to go - the place that raised him, miseducated and betrayed him, where his old crew, his old boss and his murky past lie in wait.
Over the course of a single night, Jonjo will run into arms dealers, drug lords, crooked cops and his own dysfunctional family; he’ll get caught up in a police raid, get locked in a brothel with a dead man and uncover a drug trafficking ring involving cocaine carrying fish.
It’s bad enough being back on the mean streets of Cork, but where the hell is Seamus? And can Jonjo overcome a trio of Romanian thugs, a vengeful drug lord and his unhinged arch-nemesis in time to save his son - and his brother?
