Tom is a British writer and film director. Born in Lancashire he studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at Oxford University. He lived in Bucharest for more than a decade, led by his fascination with the country, and speaks fluent Romanian.

His directing has a versatile aesthetic born out of a range of influences, ranging from Wes Anderson-inspired stylisation to a looser observational documentary approach. Always visually striking, Tom's work is underpinned by a deep understanding of storytelling and an ability to craft great performances.

Tom has directed for clients including Netflix, Samsung, Vodafone, Orange and RedBull as well as shooting documentary films for the BBC.

As a writer he's contributed to titles including Time Magazine, Dazed & Confused, The Times, The Guardian and The Economist.
